Signs of Diabetes, Hypertension, Osteoporosis, & Thyroid Disorders

Diabetes

You could be at risk for diabetes if you experience some or all of the following conditions:

  • Dry mouth
  • Fatigue (weak, tired feeling)
  • Frequent urination or urine infections
  • Increased hunger (especially after eating)
  • Increased thirst
  • Unexplained weight loss (even though you are eating and feel hungry)

Osteoporosis

  • Back pain, caused by a fractured or collapsed vertebrae
  • Loss of height over time
  • A stooped posture
  • A bone fracture that occurs much more easily than expected

Hypertension

  • High blood pressure that is difficult to manage.

Thyroid Disorders

  • Goiter
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Hypothyroidism
  • Thyroid cancer
  • Thyroid nodule
