Physician Bio

We are pleased to introduce Natalie Hancock, physician assistant (PA-C), who works at Bingham Healthcare’s 1st Choice Urgent Cares throughout Eastern Idaho. In particular, she works primarily at our 1^st Choice Urgent Care on Yellowstone Avenue in Pocatello.

Natalie assesses patients of all ages by performing a comprehensive history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. She formulates plans to manage a patient’s condition medically and serves as a health information resource through interactions with patients and their families.

Specifically, she treats patients with acute illnesses including fever, dehydration, influenza, asthma exacerbation, pneumonia, accidental ingestion, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, gastroenteritis, serious bug bites, burns, abscesses, and other viral illnesses. She also treats patients with head injuries, migraines, lacerations, sprains, fractures, and dislocations.

“I am able to understand the individual patient’s unique needs, goals, and limitations while providing high-quality, personal, and compassionate care that makes patient’s feel important, seen, heard, and helped,” Natalie said. “I strive to provide all-encompassing patient care—not only promoting physical wellness, but also incorporating the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of wholeness by providing care, education, and resources to my patients. Caring for patients in this community brings me particular joy as it gives me the opportunity to give back to those who have given me so much.”

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Brigham Young University-Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

When Natalie is not practicing medicine, she enjoys reading, hiking, learning Spanish, and spending time with her husband.
