Physician Bio

We are proud to have certified podiatrist Dan E. Robinson, DPM, MHA, as a part of our medical staff. Dr. Robinson specializes in the evaluation and treatment of foot and ankle conditions and is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

Before podiatric school, Dr. Robinson thought of becoming an accountant or physical therapist. However, his career aspirations took another turn after his wife suffered a broken foot. The positive experience they had with her podiatrist helped him make the decision to become one himself.

Dr. Robinson enjoys his field of work because of the variety of conditions that can be present when dealing with the foot and ankle. “It seems that if your feet or ankles hurt, it can affect your entire body,” says Dr. Robinson.

With the belief that every patient has individual needs, Dr. Robinson strives to treat patients the way he likes to be treated. The sense of accomplishment that comes from his work as a foot and ankle specialist is very gratifying – knowing that he made someone feel better.

Heel pain, foot pain, bunions, hammertoes and other foot deformities are just some of the conditions that Dr. Robinson can improve. He also helps diabetic patients to control foot pain and eliminate future problems, which sometimes lead to amputation.

When Dr. Robinson is not working, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and spending time with friends and his active family.

Dr. Robinson is welcoming patients to his offices in Blackfoot, Idaho Falls, and Pocatello.
