Physician Bio

We are pleased to introduce Chris Groberg, physician assistant-certified (PA-C), who works at all of our urgent cares in Blackfoot, Idaho Falls/Ammon, and Pocatello.

Chris assesses patients by performing a comprehensive history, physical examination, and appropriate diagnostic testing. He formulates plans to manage a patient’s condition medically and serves as a health information resource through interactions with patients and their families.

Specifically, he treats patients with acute illnesses including fever, dehydration, influenza, asthma exacerbation, pneumonia, accidental ingestion, appendicitis, bowel obstructions, gastroenteritis, serious bug bites, burns, abscesses, and other viral illnesses. He also treats patients with head injuries, lacerations, sprains, fractures, and dislocations.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and holds his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho.

When he is not practicing medicine, he enjoys hiking/canyoneering and marathon running.
