Financial Services

At Bingham Healthcare we believe in being good neighbors. We work hard every day to make your hospital visit worry free. As neighbors helping neighbors, Bingham Healthcare offers Patient Financial Counselors to all our patients at no cost.

Your financial counselor will help you identify the assistance programs that you qualify for, facilitate private-pay patients in applying for assistance, make payment arrangements, and work with your insurance company.

Your Financing Options

These programs and others can help pay for your healthcare expenses. Each program has a specific time frame and certain requirements which must be met. Come and visit with your Patient Financial Counselor today and begin to ease the financial burden.

Some programs we work with, and can help you apply for are:

  • Medicaid: designed for low income adults, children, and other special needs patients that qualify under Federal and State guidelines. You can call your local (county) Health and Welfare Department for more information and to see if you qualify.
  • SSI/SSD: government programs that are available to patients who are unable to find sustainable employment due to a medical condition lasting longer than one year, or who have a condition that is expected to result in death. Please visit their website at www.socialsecurity.gov for more information and to apply for this program.
  • County Indigent Program: for patients who are in need of medical services, and have exhausted all other resources. If you meet these qualifications, you may apply for assistance through your local County Indigent Program.
  • Victims of Crime may be eligible for financial assistance from the State, after all other options and programs have been used. In order to qualify, the crime must have been reported to a law enforcement agency and the victim must have cooperated with the investigation. Please contact the Idaho Industrial Commission Office for an application and more information.
  • Other financial assistance programs are also available.

Bingham Healthcare invites you to contact our Patient Financial Counselors and relieve some of your financial stress. Contact a Bingham Healthcare Patient Financial Counselor at (208) 785-3817 for additional information.
