BMH Helps Stoddard Elementary School Students Take Jump Rope to New Heights

Bingham Memorial Hospital (BMH) is pleased to help promote the health of local youth. Recently, BMH donated $1,000 to support students participating in the Stoddard Elementary School jump rope team—the Stoddard Star Jumpers.

“We strongly believe in the Stoddard Star Jumpers and their program,” says Jeff Daniels, CEO at BMH. “It’s a wonderful way for us to support them to keep moving, have fun, and stay active and healthy. This is the first year Stoddard Elementary has had a jump rope team, and we’re pleased to be helping them to get their program off the ground.”

This donation helped to pay for assemblies, jump rope workshops, t-shirts, and healthy snacks and drinks. Alicia Cody, a 5th grade teacher and head jump rope coach at Stoddard Elementary, said, “Much thanks to Bingham Memorial for your donation. Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to start up our jump rope program. The kids take this very seriously and look forward to showing off their new jump rope skills.”

The Stoddard Star Jumpers will be taking jump rope to new heights on Tuesday, April 5 at 1:30 pm at the Blackfoot Performing Art Center. Family members, friends and the entire community are invited to join the Stoddard Star Jumps as they celebrate the accomplishments of these young kids. They will be showing off jump rope tricks such as single rope, double-dutch, partner skills and so much more!
